What is Coaching?

Coaching is a powerful process that helps you create change where it matters most. It starts with defining what you want to work towards, and gives you a dedicated space to explore how to close the gap between where you are now and where you want to be. This might be a long-held ambition, a shift you want to make this year, or something much smaller that’s been quietly weighing on you.

Through coaching you gain clarity, notice patterns, and reconnect with what truly matters to you. It’s empowering work that grounds you in purpose and supports you to take intentional, meaningful steps in your life, career or business.

Coaching creates a safe space for healthy challenge. There’s room to think out loud, notice patterns, and explore what’s really going on with support and stretch in equal measure.

what coaching is not

Coaching isn’t therapy, although there are some crossovers. Therapy is an incredibly valuable process that unpacks your experiences and the effect they’ve had on you, creating space for healing. Coaching also isn’t mentoring, where you work with someone who is already doing what you want to do and receive advice based on their experience, again there can be cross-over when relevant. Most of all, it isn’t about telling you what to do, it’s about asking the right questions, holding space, to challenge limiting beliefs we tell ourselves, create new approaches and great plans.
